Casvian PH Forum Rules:

Good day and welcome to Casvian PH Forums. We're sure all of you want to exchange your thoughts, opinions and ideas with your fellow forum members (and the administration). Here are some rules to keep things nice and friendly:

1. Read before you post – what you want to post might have already been posted by another member. The last thing you want to look like is a parrot repeating what a person said.

2 .There is a search button, don't be afraid to use it – This is related to the rule above. Before you post a new topic, why not try searching; you might find an existing topic in the forum, along with an existing answer.

3. Be civil in expressing your opinion – You don't have to agree with what everyone says, but don't insult them for having ideas that are different from yours. You can always have a healthy debate without throwing insults at each other. Vulgarity, profanity, threats (both real life and in-game) and posts with the intention of initiating vulgar and/or profane discussions will be dealt with accordingly.

4. Publish work-safe content – Keep in mind, there are people who might be reading the forums from somewhere with less privacy, or some forum members that are unable to understand the full meaning of certain words and pictures that have inappropriately sensual content or meaning. Even statements implying sensual innuendos are a no-go. Let's keep it PG-13. This includes but is not limited to text, images and videos. Yes, this includes forum names.

5. Speaking in proper English or Tagalog is encouraged – Speaking in either English or Filipino with proper grammar and syntax (no txtspeak, no 133t speak) will make your post comprehensible to the vast majority of posters. I don't think you want to limit the number of people who can supply you with valuable information.

6. Respect your moderators and fellow forum members, including their privacy – Yeah, they're people too, so give them some respect. Respect their opinion, their race, religion and other aspects that are relevant. Personal information about other people should not be disseminated without the prior consent of the appropriate parties.

7. Keep discussions related to the topic – This includes posting topics (and replies) and discussing stuff at the proper venue. There is a general chat section where you can discuss matters that are not game related. Post your IRL stuff there. There is no "Promotional Section" in this forum so promotional posts, messages and images will always be inappropriate.

8. Casvian PH should be the only game discussed in this forum – This is the Casvian PH forums after all, right? If we wanted people to talk about other games, we would have named this forum: Other Games Forum.

9. Keep post contents legal – For obvious reasons, posts containing illegally obtained copyrighted material, hacks cheats and exploits, links leading to information regarding these will be dealt with accordingly.

10. Do not impersonate any GM, Moderator, Cubinet Interactive employee or forum member for that matter – We are not your enemies. We're here to help nurture healthy discussion amongst Casvian PH players. Impersonating us or any other forum member won't help.

These rules are not exhaustive; the management will asses cases that are not/not explicitly covered by the rules and deal with them accordingly.

Penalties for Violating Rules:

Violating different rules will incur different penalties. Violating rules 1-7 will incur light penalties, violating rules 8-10 will incur heavy penalties but depending on the gravity of the violation, management will serve the appropriate sanction. Inappropriate posts, signatures and avatars will also be edited, or in extreme cases, deleted because of graphic content (rule #4). Threads may also be locked/hidden if the flow of discussion is not in accordance to the rules.

Light Penalties:

1st offense: Warning via PM
2nd offense: 3-day forum mute
3rd offense onwards: 3-day forum ban

Forum mute will simply disable posting using your forum account. Every end of the month, your penalty counter will reset; we are willing to give a second chance. However, if you incurred 3 or more light violations within a month, after your penalty counter is reset, all violations you make will be treated as heavy violations.

Heavy Penalties:

1st offense: 3-day forum ban
2nd offense: 9-day forum ban
3rd offense: permanent forum ban

Monthly penalty reset only applies up until the 2nd offense. Try not to incur heavy degrees of violation. We don't want people banned from the forums.

Again, management may give penalties according to their discretion, but only under extenuating circumstances. As much as possible the management does not want to do this; we respect the opinions of our forum members but we also want an environment that is suitable for healthy discussion amongst forum members.
